So I set about researching easier ways in which to make a living... And it was during this time that I looked for alternatives - easier ways to make money if you like... I won't bore you with the details here, but let me assure you that I looked at pretty much every imaginable alternative...
Mainly because I wasn't able to do the things that I wanted to do with both MY TIME and MY MONEY... L ike so many people who find themselves in the same type of situation - I had a big mortgage and increasingly high bills at the end of the month, plus a credit card debt that just kept piling up.
And this wasn't what I was looking for at all! Looking back, all I seemed to be finding was one full-time job after another...
If they did work, I found myself glued to a computer or working evenings to make sure that I didn't miss out on anything...
followed by Friday afternoons and evenings stuck in traffic... So, although I was earning a salary, I really felt like I had no life whatsoever... and that I was well and truly stuck in the "rat race"... I had no freedom at all... Worse still, my girlfriend was having to work longer and longer hours with her job... and we just seemed to be treading water... month after month... We had little money , growing debts, and we certainly didn't have the lifestyle that we both wanted...
And I mean Everything ! I guess I was just living the same frustrating life that a lot of people live out there...
I used to work very hard in a full-time job; several full-time jobs actually... and travelling all over the country in fact. "I used to spend Monday's and Friday's in traffic like this!" Now this may sound exciting... travelling all over the country and getting paid to do it, but in reality, it's far from it... I was rarely ever based in these areas, so what this actually meant for me was very early mornings on a Monday, in an attempt to beat the traffic to wherever I was working that week...
I wasn't sure exactly what I wanted to do, but I was certain of one thing - what I was doing at the time was not making me happy.
Then it really hit me one day... and I thought, " What am I doing with my life?" ... When I really thought about it, I was no better off than the average person... I had no real money to hand. I had nothing to look forward to, apart from the usual two week vacation in the sun! There Had To Be An Easier Way...
